Different stretches work different areas of the calf.

Different stretches work different areas of the calf.

Keeping a straight leg will allow you to work the large hunk of muscle at the top of the calf (the gastrocnemius), rather than the longer soleus muscle in the same area.

Hold this stretch for 30 seconds. Do each leg twice.
