U.S. Cross Country Championships

Kipchirchir, who leads the U.S. team into the IAAF World Cross Country Championships this week, has arrived at the top of American distance running nine years after showing up as a college freshman.

The 26-year old Hansons-Brooks athlete is vying for a top-6 finish at Saturday's U.S. Cross Cross Championships.

This weekend's event will feature many of the top runners in the country.

Cross country brings together the toughest of runners from the road, track and trails for a singular battle of attrition.

We highlight some of the top achievements of Flanagan's career, which includes multiple national titles, national records and an Olympic 10,000m medal.
