Video: The Hoka One One Clayton Launch Party

[brightcove id=”4815809274001″]

While Hoka One One has continued to refine its thickly cushioned shoes, it has also developed a series of speed shoes that are a bit lower to the ground and built for racing and fast training. One of the first to hit stores is the Clayton, a thickly cushioned shoe that has been engineered to offer cushioning, protection and energy return. The result is a category-breaking long-distance trainer/racer that’s both exceptionally wide and very stable but also impressively light, responsive and fast. Here’s a look at the shoe from Hoka’s launch party recently at the Boulder Running Company in Boulder, Colo. (The Clayton is available exclusively at JackRabbit and Boulder Running Company stores and sites until April 1, when it will hit additional running specialty shops across the U.S.)
