Sneak Peek: Special-Release Boston Gear

Check out some of the specialty items being made by various venders for this year’s race. 

When the Boston Marathon’s three-day John Hancock Sports & Fitness Expo opens on Friday at noon ET at the John B. Hynes Convention Center in Boston, runners from around the world will begin filing in to pick up their race bibs, official gear and whatever pre-race shopping needs they might have. More than 100 running-related vendors will be on hand, including almost every running shoe and apparel company. (Note: Adidas is the official footwear and apparel sponsor of the B.A.A. Boston Marathon.)

Here’s a sneak peek of some of the gear made especially for this year’s race, most of which has a component to raise money for The One Fund Boston. (Some of this gear will be available at Boston-area retailers starting this week too.)
