Lowa’s long hiking lineage is reflected in the well-constructed and highly durable S-Cope for women and S-Trail for men, both of which are outfitted with GORE-Tex waterproofing. Testers recommended these shoes for runners seeking structure and motion control and substantial stability and underfoot protection thanks to the rigid frame of the shoe’s supportive, layered TPU and EVA midsole. With a separate women’s last, the fit of both styles accommodates wider, higher-volume feet. These make great shoes if you like to mix it up between hiking and running on challenging terrain.
