These Shoes Will Be Your New Lucky Charm

To offer runners a little extra luck this year, Brooks Running will debut the Launch 5 Shamrock Shoe to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Available on March 1, the limited-edition green kicks feature a clover-print upper as well as gold detailing on its aglets, midsole and outsole.

“When we set out to create the Brooks Launch 5 Shamrock shoe, we wanted to create a shoe that could serve as a personal lucky charm for runners everywhere,” said Brice Newton, senior manager of global footwear merchandising. “This St. Patrick’s Day, we celebrate the luck of a good running shoe and the many miles a shoe can take a runner, be it from start to finish on a race course, or dashing to the local pub after a weeknight jog.”

The Launch 5’s engineered, one-piece mesh upper allows for a breathable, lightweight fit while its rebounding rubber outsole and BioMoGo DNA midsole offer a pliable feel. The shoe’s Midfoot Transition Zone helps get runners from heel to toe quickly. Adding some extra encouragement, Launch 5’s heel and sock liner include the words “Run Lucky,” to inspire runners to go that extra mile.
