According to a press release, elite runner and former Ivy League champion Zach Hine has signed a contract with Michigan-based Elite Runner Management headed by Christopher Mengel.
Hine, a graduate of Cornell University, trained under Robert Johnson at the school. He was a 10,000m Ivy League Champion. Upon graduating, he went on to run for the Hansons-Brooks Distance Running Project. Last year, he moved to Boulder to train under coach Brad Hudson.
“We are very excited to have the opportunity to represent Zach. He has made great strides in his short professional career and has shown that he has both the talent and work ethic to become one of the country’s premier long distance runners,” Mengel said. “We look forward to working with Zach and his coach, Brad Hudson, to help him achieve the ambitious running goals he has set for himself.”
Hudson has high hopes for Hine.
“Zach’s training is going very well and he is getting stronger every year,” he says.
