Vancouver Joins Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series

The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series is coming to Vancouver, British Columbia in 2014, it was announced today. Partnerships with Lassonde Industries, Inc., and the Lions Gate Road Runners will bring the Series to Vancouver with the Rock ‘n’ Roll Oasis Vancouver Half Marathon.

The inaugural Rock ‘n’ Roll Oasis Vancouver Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, October 26, 2014, with event registration opening on November 15, 2013 at RunRocknRoll.com.

The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series started as a single race in 1998, and is now the ‘World’s Largest Running Series’ featuring a global tour schedule of 30 events in 2014. Race weekend in Vancouver will begin with a free two-day Health & Fitness Expo at the Vancouver Convention Center where all participants will go to pick up their race number. The expo will feature several running and fitness retailers, exhibits with free nutritional samples and a series of interactive clinics.
