Unidentified NYC Jogger Remains Unconscious
White man in his 50s remains unidentified, unconscious in hospital.
An unidentified man in his 50s was found unconscious in Prospect Park in New York City on New Year’s Eve wearing running attire, according to members of the Prospect Park Track Club.
He had nothing on him except an inhaler, and is currently still unconscious in the ICU at Methodist Hospital. Track club vice president Michael Ring reportedly visited the man in the hospital but was unable to identify him.
He is described as a 60-year-old man who is 5-foot-9 and weights about 200 pounds with brown eyes and grey hair. He was wearing blue jogging pants and jacket and size 9.5 black Adidas sneakers. Anyone with information should contact the New York City Police Department.
A member of JackRabbit Sports in Park Slope was also asked to spread the word and see if there is family out there searching.
“We are beginning to think he is not from here but was visiting since no one has come forward thus far,” says Anna Lewandowski, JackRabbit Sports UES Manager. “A doctor from the hospital recently came in to my running store to ask if we had heard of any missing runners. We are posting to all running clubs and groups but no luck so far.”
