Tyson Gay Will Have Season Ending Surgery
American record holder at 100m will miss the remainder of the track season.
Tyson Gay will have season ending groin surgery to repair an injury that he has been dealing with all summer. Despite the injury Gay was able to set an American record 9.71 in the 100m at the Berlin world championships last month. Gay has said that it is like running on one leg all summer. If that is true it will interesting to see how much faster he can run next year on two legs. Looks like Jamaican star Usain Bolt better stay on his toes in 2010 if a healthy Tyson Gay returns.
