Trafeh To Lead U.S. Men At Moscow Worlds

Mo Trafeh, the American record holder in the 25K, highlights the men’s marathon team for this summer’s World Championships in Moscow.
Trafeh, who finished seventh in the 2012 Fukuoka Marathon with a time of 2:11:41, will be joined by Jeffrey Eggleston and Carlos Trujillo.
Eggleston, who was also a member of the 2011 Worlds team, set his marathon PR of 2:12:03 at the 2012 Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Trujillo’s best 26.2-mile time is 2:14:21, also set in Chicago last year.
The men’s marathon is scheduled for Aug. 17.
On Friday, USA Track & Field named the women’s roster: Deena Kastor, Dot McMahan and Jeannette Faber.
The women’s race will take place Aug. 10.
