Thousands of Runners Toed the Start at Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon & ½ Marathon

More than 23,000 runners from 50 states and 21 countries toed the start line at the 14^th annual Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon & ½ Marathon on Sunday. Thomas Puzey of Flagstaff, Ariz., placed first in the men’s half marathon and Bailey Drewes of Ithaca, N.Y., finished first in the women’s marathon. Jeffrey Eggleston (Boulder, Colo.) and Neely Spence Gracey (Boulder, Colo.) won the men’s and women’s half marathon, respectively. Upon finishing, runners celebrated with family and friends at the finish line festival where alternative rock band Toad the Wet Sprocket took the stage to headline the post race Toyota Rock ‘n’ Roll Concert Series.
