Thirty-six-year-old Viktor Röthlin of Switzerland considers himself a contender for the medal podium at the New York City Marathon in less than two weeks. A three-time Olympian, Röthlin is looking at New York as a good experience to prepare him for the 2012 Olympics in London.
“I am excited to be able to be in New York and to compete in one of most famous races of the world,” Röthlin told the IAAF.
