The Running Center, New York City’s only training facility specifically for runners, is offering a new running clinic called “Stride Right.” Attendees of this free clinic will learn how to stop wasting energy on unnecessary movements and thus run faster and more efficiently.
The clinic will be held at 1 p.m. on April 5 at the Jewish Community Center of Manhattan. The free clinic is part of the JCC’s 2nd Annual Triathlon Symposium. The Running Center’s owner and head coach, Coach Mindy, will lead the clinic.
- How to improve stride length and stride frequency and understand the difference between the two.
- How stride can be affected by leg length, q-angle, gait and pronation.
- How to change your stride to accommodate uphill, downhill and flat ground running.
