St. Jude Country Music Marathon Wins Race Against the Weather

The St. Jude Country Music Marathon & ½ Marathon welcomed more than 30,000 registered participants from around the world including local “marathon man,” Scott Wietecha, who once again took the win in the 26.2-mile race in 2:23:39. Overcast and nearly rain-free conditions set the stage as participants started in front of Bridgestone Arena, ran past the honky-tonk bars on Lower Broadway lined, through the streets of downtown Nashville, before finishing at LP Field, home of the Tennessee Titans.
