Runners from all over Ireland, and every corner of the world, descended on Dublin this morning for the second annual Rock ‘n’ Roll Dublin Half Marathon. The 13.1 mile race started at the Docklands alongside the River Liffey, taking in the north and south quays, Christchurch, the Guinness Brewery, Royal Hospital Kilmainham and the Phoenix Park – a spectacular introduction to Dublin for the 3,500 overseas visitors to the city.
