Cactus Rose 100
The trail run explores the rugged terrain of south Texas.
Taking place in Bandera, Texas, about 50 miles from San Antonio, the Cactus Rose 100 is a rugged trail run with “bonus points for blood, cuts, scrapes and puke.”
The 25-mile course was done four times by the 100-mile finishers, with each loop reversing course. Runners had 36 hours to complete the race. Brian Hopton-Jones won the men’s race in 21:08:30, while Lise Plantier was the top female finisher in 24:24:33.
