2015 U.S. Mountain Running Championships

The U.S. Mountain Running Championships were held Saturday at Mt. Bachelor, just outside of Bend, Ore. A total of 245 runners–155 men, 90 women—from 29 states took park in the event, which featured a community 4K, women’s 8K and men’s 12K. Morgan Arritola won the women’s race in 36:20, while Patrick Smyth took the mens title in 46:10. The top-4 women and top-6 men qualified for the World Mountain Running Championships to be held in Wales on Sept. 19.
