The Scenic Sights at the 2015 Pittsburgh Marathon
The scenic race crosses over iconic bridges and explores Steel City.
More than 30,000 runners were in downtown Pittsburgh on Sunday to run the 2015 Dick’s Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon and Half Marathon. The marathon was won by Stephen Njoroge of Kenya in 2:15:18 and Clara Santucci of the United States in 2:34:05.
The course was classic Pittsburgh—five bridge crossings over the three rivers that converge in the city, giving runners an up-close look at the Steel City’s charm.
