Kenyan Bedan Karoki Muchiri won the men’s race at the Lisbon Half Marathon over the weekend, crossing the finish line in 59:58. Taking second and third were his countrymen Silas Kipruto (1:00:17) and Ezekiel Chebii (1:00:50).
Ethiopian Worknesh Degefa Debele was the women’s champion with a time of 1:08:46. Kenyans Jemima Jelagat (1:08:48) and Filomena Chepchirchir (1:08:51) placed second and third.
