PBS Marathon Challenge

PBS followed 13 ordinary people as they trained for the Boston Marathon.

Interesting, although at times long, documentary following a group of people who go from virtually no exercise to attempting to run the Boston Marathon.  The group is coached outside of Boston by professors and coaches from Tufts University, as well as 3 time Boston Champion Uta Pippig.  It’s a really great look in to the trials and tribulations of a first time marathoner. The documentary originally aired October 30, 2007 on the PBS show NOVA.
