The popular Nike Women’s Half Marathon in San Francisco has demand that far exceeds the number of available bibs. Like other races, Nike will conduct a random drawing to determine registrants for the October race. That drawing is now open and will remain open until 11:59 a.m. on June 29.
Runners will be asked to provide a credit card number, but will not be charged unless they are selected. The drawing will take place “on or before” July 8th and once credit card payment is verified, runners will be notified via email. Registration for the race is $200.
More than 25,000 runners are expected to run in the Nike Women’s San Francisco Half Marathon, which will take place on Oct. 18. Interested runners can register on the Nike website.
