New United Race Series For NorCal Runners

The cities of Berkeley, San Jose and Marin will host races.

The cities of Berkeley, San Jose and Marin will host races.

According to a press release from Soul Focus Sports , a new Northern California-based  series called “The Represent Running Series” will be  taking place later this year.

The series unites three key races that are named after the area code of the city they are held in: the San Jose 408k, the Marin 415 Mile & Miracle Mile, and a newly announced Let’s Go 510 in Berkeley.

The “Let’s Go 510”, a 10K, takes place Oct. 13.

“We’re proud to be working with Represent Running to produce a race that embraces the excellence of the 510, which is also our home, and especially happy to be involved with the fundraising efforts to rebuild at the East Bay Humane Society,” said Sam Fiandaca, Founder of Brazen Racing, that is partnering with Soul Focus Sports. The fundraising efforts for the East Bay Humane Society are coming at a good time because the organization’s headquarters burned down last year.

Across the three races, approximately 12,000 runners are expected to participate.
