Medtronic Twin Cities One Mile Registration Open

Registration for a shot at one of the nation’s largest one-mile prize purses is now under way. The race is scheduled for May 7.

The Medtronic Twin Cities 1 Mile offers more than $22,000 in prize money and the chance for one male and one female to walk away with $10,000. 

This year’s race also serves as the inaugural 2009 Men’s and Women’s USA 1 Mile Road Championships. USA Track & Field awarded the honor to Twin Cities Marathon, Inc. through 2012. 

Along with a competitife vield of elites, 3,200 local runners will kick off their spring and summer training seasons with this 5h anniversary venet, which takes place along the Nicollet Mall. New this year, 1000 finishers will be selected at random to receive guaranteed entry to the Medtronic TC 10 Mile, which will take place Oct. 4.
