Masai, Kogo To Make Half Marathon Debuts In Abu Dhabi
10,000 meter specialists moving up in distance.
Two of Kenya’s top distance runners, Linet Masai and Micah Kogo, will make their highly anticipated debuts at the half marathon this Thursday at the Zayed Half Marathon in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Masai is the reigining 10,000m world champion on the track, a title she captured in Berlin in 2009. Kogo, the 2008 Olympic 10,000m bronze medalist, holds the world record for 10k on the roads, a mark he set in March 2009.
