Seven-time Tour de France winner doesn’t show up in official results.
He doesn’t show up in the official results, but according to his Twitter account, Lance Armstrong finished the Livestrong Half Marathon in his hometown of Austin, Texas on Sunday in a time of 1:22.
“Fun times this am at the @LIVESTRONG Austin Marathon. 20,000 runners!! Ran a 1:22. Gr8 to be w/ @jbsamuelson” Armstrong wrote on his Twitter.
Armstrong, who officially retired from the sport of cycling last week, was slated to compete in a triathlon in New Zealand last month but withdrew because of a knee injury. Rumors abound as to whether or not he will make a serious attempt at competing in an Ironman event, or retire from competitive endurance athletics altogether.
