Kenya’s Robert Kiprono Cheruiyot won today’s Boston Marathon in course-record time. Cheruiyot beat out a stacked field, including Deriba Merga, posting a time of 2:05:52 (unofficial), for the title. For more, stay tuned to Competitor.com.
Second place went to Kebede (2:07:23), Merga (2:08:39) came in third, and American Ryan Hall finished fourth in 2:08:41. Hall’s was the fastest time ever run by an American at the Boston Marathon.
