The Johnstons are using the power of running to take on a neurodegenerative disorder that has rocked their family.
Ramona Johnston was diagnosed with Huntington’s disease more than a decade ago, and since then, her husband Bill has run the Suja Rock ‘n’ Roll San Diego Marathon as a way to raise funds for the Huntington’s Disease Society of America. In recent years, their daughter Hayley has run with Bill, the two of them pushing Ramona in a stroller.
Bill is the director of public relations for the NFL’s San Diego Chargers.
The Johnstons are back in 2015 preparing for Suja Rock ‘n’ Roll San Diego and once again raising funds. This video tells their story.
