A mishandled sample will allow Sheri-Ann Brooks to avoid sanctions.

Jamaican sprinter Sheri-Ann Brooks has been cleared to run at the upcoming IAAF World Championships even though she tested positive for a banned substance last month. Due to a supposed “irregularity” in her B-sample test, Brooks has been cleared, by the Jamaica Anti-Doping Agency, to compete in the 100m in Berlin later this month. Brooks will also, likely, run as part of the Jamaican 4X100m relay.
