Film Highlights the Beauty of Ultra-trail Cape Town
A look at one of ultrarunning's newest events in one of the world's most scenic places.
The Ultra-trail Cape Town debuted in 2014, taking runners on 100K and 65K journeys around one of the world’s most stunning locales.
It was anything but easy—as this film shows—but the challenge of the race is softened by the amazing scenery that Cape Town, South Africa offers—from vast ocean views to Table Mountain, considered by some to be one of the seven natural wonders of the world. The film also explores the physical and mental journey that consumes runners tackling 100K on tough terrain.
The 2015 race is scheduled for Oct. 3, with 100K, 65K and 20K options.
