Dean Karnazes Running From Santa Barbara To Los Angeles To San Diego

The “Ultramarathon Man” will run to the Los Angeles Marathon and then run to San Diego to participate in the Rock ‘N’ Roll San Diego Marathon.

It’s not enough for Dean Karnazes to run marathons on back-to-back weekends. He will also run, instead of driving, to get to the destinations.  Beginning Saturday, May 22, Karnazes will run over 100 miles from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles, where he will run the Memorial Day Los Angeles Marathon. He will then run more 100 miles to San Diego to participate in the May 31 Rock ‘N’ Roll San Diego Marathon.

Such feats are nothing new to the man who in 2006 ran 50 marathons in 50 days, which he captured every step of in his book 50/50.  Karnazes is known for stretching the boundaries of normal running, always trying to do something that someone else has not done.
