‘Dancing With The Stars’ To Feature Boston Runner

She isn't letting this setback stop her from dancing again.

She isn’t letting this setback stop her from dancing again.

According to the Today, the popular television show “Dancing with the Stars” will pay tribute to professional ballroom dancer Adrianne Haslet-Davis.

The 32-year-old lost her left leg below the knee at this year’s Boston Marathon, where terrorists detonated two explosive devices near the finish line on April 15.

Despite this incredible setback, Haslet-Davis insists she isn’t going to be stopped from dancing again.

“Dancing is my life,” she said. “Yeah, having my foot blown off, that really sucks. But I can’t wallow in woe is me.”

Per the dancer’s fundraising website, ABC sent a camera crew to Boston’s Spaulding Rehabilitation Center in order to feature her.

The Fund for Adrianne site announced: “Adrianne’s appearance on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ was filmed today, and will air Tuesday night. We can’t wait! Be sure to tune in!”

A total of 264 people at the scene of the bombing were injured, and three spectators lost their lives in the incident.
