Bolt Wants To Conquer More Events

World record holder in the 100m and 200m may add longer distances and field events to his plan.

Although there are some unfounded reports that Usain Bolt may move up to the 400m sooner rather than later, it is true he is planning on adding a field event to his plan. Bolt stated that he has “messed around” with the long jump since high school and is thinking he may try it before he retires. The current world record holder at the long jump, American Mike Powell, told The Guardian he thinks Bolt could be the first man over 9.00m in the event’s history.
