Atlanta Track Club Announces Triple Peach Series

Atlanta’s top road races are now united.

Running USA recently published an article about a new race series that’s brewing in Atlanta.

The series is a partnership with German auto maker Volkswagen and is called the “VW Triple Peach.” Specifically, the program is to enhance the experience of Atlanta-based runners and entails three key races: the AJC Peachtree Road Race, the Atlanta 10-Mile or Marathon, and the Atlanta Half Marathon.

Per the press release: “Participants who sign up for the VW Triple Peach will receive discounted entry into the Atlanta Marathon or 10 Miler and the Atlanta Half Marathon, and those completing all three events will receive public recognition and a prize.”

The current Executive Director of the Atlanta Track Club, Tracey Russell, has big plans for the series.

“The VW Triple Peach is a fun and exciting way to encourage participants to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle throughout the year,” she said. “We’re pleased to have Volkswagen involved in this new program as we continue to promote health and fitness in the Atlanta community and beyond.
