The 2013 Boston Marathon will always be remembered for the terrorist bombings that killed four people and permanently injured hundreds more. “Patriots Day” debuted in theaters on Dec. 21, depicting both the finish line chaos of that day and also the three-day manhunt that followed. In the movie, police Sgt. Tommy Saunders (Mark Wahlberg), FBI Special Agent Richard DesLauriers (Kevin Bacon) and Commissioner Ed Davis (John Goodman) join courageous survivors, first responders and other investigators in a race against the clock to hunt down the suspects and bring them to justice.
