Team USA Set For IAU 100km World Cup

INDIANAPOLIS – 2008 World Cup silver medalist Kami Semick (Bend, Ore.) leads Team USA for the 23rd IAU 100 km World Cup tomorrow in Torhout, Belgium. Last year in Tarquinia, Italy, Semick earned an individual silver medal in the World Cup 100km, and led the United States to a Team Silver Medal.
Joining Semick on the women’s team will be Meghan Arbogast (Corvallis, Ore.), Devon Crosby-Helms (San Francisco, Calif.), Julie Udchadon (Eagle River, Alaska), Connie Gardner (Medina, Ohio) and Carolyn Smith (Milwaukee, Wis.).
The men’s team will be led by last year’s ninth-place finisher Michael Wardian (Arlington, Va.) who will be teamed with Greg Crowther (Seattle, Wash.), Adam Lint (Seattle, Wash.), Howard Nippert (Colorado Springs, Colo.), Chad Ricklefs (Boulder, Colo.) and Steve Stowers (Berkeley, Calif.).
