Southern California's running season is in full swing, with little evidence that it's the middle of winter.
While much of the United States is battling an arctic chill—and in some places, a couple feet of snow—Southern California’s running season is in full swing, with little evidence that it’s the middle of winter.
Competitor senior video producer Steve Godwin took his GoPro Hero 3+ to the XTERRA Mission Gorge Trail Run, a 15K and 5K race in the hills east of La Jolla in San Diego on Sunday. Featuring the “thousand steps” and other challenging terrain, the runners also battled warm temperatures—a little unusual for February running.
