2015 Lake Sonoma 50

Some of ultrarunning’s biggest names were in Healdsburg, Calif., for the Lake Sonoma 50. It was a fast day on the trails, as both the men’s and women’s winners set a course record.

On the men’s side, Alex Varner set a course record is 6:09:39, running away with the victory over Ryan Bak (6:23:25) and Jared Hazen (6:31:54).

On the women’s side, Stephanie Howe set a course record in 7:08:23 to take the victory.
