Friday Face Plant: Best Steeplechase Fail

Doh! BYU track athlete Katy Andrews posted this video of her unconventional, headfirst topple over one of the barriers in a 3,000-meter steeplechase race. She even owns up to her embarrassing face plant  by titling it “Best Steeplechase FAIL.”  Based on that, we don’t feel too bad about laughing about her fall in this 8-second clip. In fact, we admire her good sportsmanship.

Here’s a closer look at Katy’s face plant caught on a GoPro HD Hero 2 waterproof camera. This media hound also added stills of 10 frames a second for an even more in-depth perspective. Plus, you can see her beaming smile as she leaves the water pit.
